You know the pair. They look beautiful in the box and even better in the photos. Then, somewhere between the entrée and the mains, you start counting the minutes until you can slip them off under the table.
Or the heel is so high and thin that every step on the paving needs thinking about. Or the slingback strap keeps sliding down your heel, and you spend half the afternoon hooking it back up.
So the nice shoes stay in the wardrobe, a pair of back-up flats goes in your handbag, and eventually you stop bothering with heels at all.
A lower heel that still looks like a dress shoe
Lysandra is a slingback with a pointed toe and a sculpted block heel of about 5 cm. The heel widens at the base, so there is more of it under you than with a slim heel, and it is low enough for a long lunch, a wedding or a working day. It looks like a proper dress shoe, not a comfort shoe.
Inside is a cushioned insole. The slingback strap has a small buckle, so you can tighten it to your own heel. A gold-tone ring on the front strap adds a little polish, and the rubber sole is non-slip.

About 5 cm. It is a block heel that widens towards the base, so it feels steadier underfoot than a slim heel of the same height.
Will the slingback strap slip down?
The strap has a small buckle, so you can tighten it to fit your heel. Every heel is shaped a little differently, so if the fit is not right for you, you can return them unworn within 30 days.
Which size should I choose?
Lysandra comes in whole sizes, AU 4 to 11 (EU 35 to 42). Measure your foot from the back of your heel to your longest toe, standing up, and compare it with the foot length below. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
