When it’s too hot for pants, a skirt is the easy answer. Until the breeze picks up on the walk to the café, you sit down on a low wall to watch the grandkids, or you step up onto the ferry, and you spend the whole time minding your hem.
Plenty of us already wear a pair of bike shorts under a skirt on hot days. It works, but it’s one more thing to pull on.
And shorts on their own? Many women would simply rather not.

A skirt from the front, shorts underneath
Ana is a pair of wide, relaxed shorts with one loose panel that wraps across the front. From the front it reads as an easy summer skirt. Lift the panel and there are the shorts, sewn in, so there’s nothing extra to wear underneath.
The waist is a soft elastic band you simply pull on, with no zip and no buttons, and there are two big patch pockets at the front.

Before you order
Is it a skirt or shorts?
Both. It’s a pair of wide shorts with one loose panel that wraps across the front, so from the front it looks like a skirt. If the panel moves when you walk, sit or catch a gust of wind, what you see is the shorts underneath.
Which size should I choose?
The hips are roomy, so choose by your waist. The waist is elastic and the table shows our supplier’s measurements of the garment itself, not body measurements. If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger one.

How long is it?
It falls around the knee. Our supplier lists the length from waist to hem as 58 cm in S up to 62 cm in 2XL. Where it lands on you depends on your height and where you wear the waist.
What is it made of?
A soft woven fabric with a light crinkle texture, so small creases don’t show much. Our supplier only describes it as a blend, so we won’t promise cotton or linen.
Is Ivory see‑through?
Ivory is the lightest of the four colours. As with any light summer fabric, we’d wear nude underwear with it. Navy and Black are the safe choice if you’re unsure.
When will it arrive?
Delivery to Australia and New Zealand is free and tracked, usually within 7–10 days.
What if it doesn’t fit?
