Most of us have owned one: the long denim skirt that went with everything. Saturday at the market, Sunday lunch, a day out with the grandkids. Easy, comfortable and never fussy.
The denim skirts in the shops now tend to be short, tight or plain enough to feel like gardening clothes. And when you want to look a little nicer, it suddenly turns into a dress and a whole production.

Proper denim, with a pretty side
Solenne is a long, high‑rise denim skirt with everything you know from a good pair of jeans: belt loops, a button and zip, and front pockets. From the hips it falls into a soft A‑line, so there’s room to move and it doesn’t cling.
Down one side runs an open floral lace panel in the same colour as the denim. It turns an everyday skirt into something you’d happily wear to lunch, church or dinner.

Before you order
How long is it? I’m not very tall.
Solenne is a true maxi. Our supplier lists the length as about 100 cm in S up to 104 cm in 2XL, from the waist to the hem. If you’re around 155 to 165 cm, it will reach the floor in flat shoes. A small heel or wedge lifts it to just above the ground.
Because the hem is scalloped lace, it isn’t easy to shorten. If you’re petite, email us your height before you order and we’ll tell you honestly how it will fall.

Which size should I choose?
Choose by your waist. The table shows our supplier’s measurements of the skirt itself. Pick the size where the skirt’s waist is the same as your waist or a little bigger. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.

Is there elastic in the waist?
No. It’s a proper jean waist with a button and zip, sitting at your natural waist. Our supplier doesn’t list any stretch, so go by your waist measurement rather than counting on give. Wear your top loose over it if you prefer.
Can you see through the lace?
Yes, a little. The lace panel is open, so you’ll see some leg through it as you walk, especially in White. The denim itself is a solid weave.
Will it be too warm?
It’s a proper long denim skirt, so it’s at its best on spring days, cooler evenings, air‑conditioned lunches and travel days, rather than the hottest summer afternoons.
How do I wash it?
Our supplier recommends a cold machine wash with similar colours, then hang it to dry. Wash Navy and Black on their own the first time.
When will it arrive?
Delivery to Australia and New Zealand is free and tracked, usually within 7–10 days.
What if it doesn’t fit?
